Leren Doen is a bike and repair shop based in Den Haag. Besides, it’s an organization that works in close contact with youngsters, providing a workplace where to learn practical skills as bike technicians and mechanics.
Bicycle Battery Charging
Five teams from TU Delft had to design a phone charging device with bike parts, dynamos and electronic components. The participants had five hours to come up with a concept and implement it. In the end, all of the five teams reached the goal. The winning team not only charged their phone but also manged to power a light bulb.
